University of Melbourne Eid Reception
On the 18th of May, Melbourne University Law School hosted its inaugural Eid Reception to celebrate the end of Ramadan. Professor Pip Nicholson welcomed guests and highlighted the work the facility is undertaking, including publishing a book and conducting roundtable discussions on Islamic Law. Additionally Professor Nicholson discussed her work in the area of championing the legal profession for greater inclusion. Overall was a wonderful program opportunity to meet new people, hear spoken word poetry from a Sirius College student and classical Sufi music.
